How to Register for Mobikash in Kenya

If you have not heard of it before, you may be asking what is Mobikash and how is it relevant to your money in Kenya? Let us present a couple of Mobikash features and how they will make moving money much easier for you.

•    Mobikash is the all inclusive money platform integrating various platforms thus making it very convenient. Mobikash though independent works across airtime and mobile money networks including Orange, Airtel, Safaricom, as well as Orange Money, Airtel Money, and Mpesa.

•    Even with its ease of use across various networks, Mobikash is an affordable platform charging a minimum premium to withdraw cash. It adds convenience to your telephone use as you can buy and sell airtime across networks.  You also pay a minimum tariff to send money to both registered and unregistered Mobikash users.

•    Mobikash has thought out all the challenges of the other networks and has created a seamless user experience. For instance, it has a unique confirmation feature when sending money to someone that ensures you never send money to the wrong party. Say goodbye to calling Customer Care and waiting days for money you need to be reversed to you when you use Mobikash.

•    Non-registered users need to register to receive money and this is the greatest Mobikash opportunity. Within a short time, this will be the single most convenient money platform to be on. Therefore, this is the best time to open an account as shortly most of your friends and family will be on the network too. This will translate into reduced costs for transacting across different networks. It then comes with the added advantage that you can send and withdraw money, make deposits, pay your bills, and receive loans and pensions.

What are the Current Mobikash Rates?
The current rates for transacting on the Mobikash platform are:
•    Withdraw cash — Kshs 25/-
•    Send Money to registered and non-registered users — Kshs 30/-
•    Check balance — Kshs 5/-
